Required Transcript Evaluation
You must have all prior civilian and military credits evaluated for transfer. This must be done before your fourth quarter of funding is approved. This takes time, often up to six weeks, so do not delay in starting this process.
To have your credits evaluated, follow these steps:
- Go to www.edcc.edu/credentials/transcripts.html for detailed information about getting your transcripts evaluated. There is a process and a form you must complete.
- Go to the GATE Credential Evaluation System to complete a Transcript Evaluation Request form.
- For military transcripts, see Military Transcript Evaluation. Use the information provided to request an official copy of your transcript.
EdMail: You are required to use it! It is the way we communicate with you.
The college assigns all students EdMail (email) accounts within a couple of days after they register for their first class. Note: if you are a former student returning after time away from school, check with the Enrollment Services Office to confirm what email address we have on file for you. We use the address recorded in the Enrollment Services records. To gain access to your account, follow the steps at edcc.edu/edmail.
