Celebration of Food Festival 2013

Taste, explore, and experience real food, as well as take in gardening demonstrations and presentations on growing, cooking, and preserving food. This free, family event is May 19 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. There will be free samples! Co-sponsored by Edmonds Community College.

Bob Rosner

Seattle resident Bob Rosner is a nationally known motivational speaker on employment and careers and has appeared on the "Today" show and "CBS This Morning." Check him out on YouTube. Rosner will speak at 12:30 p.m., May 23, in the Black Box Theatre. Light refreshments available!

The Edmonds Community College Foundation is one of more than 1,400 nonprofits participating. Consider a donation, all of which are available for matching funds, to the Edmonds CC Foundation on May 15!

Join us for a series of free talks exploring media and entertainment, which all begin at 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre:

  • May 21: Jennifer Stuller: "Ink-Stained Amazons and Cinematic Warriors: Superwomen in Modern Mythology",
  • Oct. 8: Anu Taranath: "The World in Washington: An Exploration of Literature and Our Lives" and,
  • Nov. 12: Robert Horton: "The End of the Trail: How the Western Movie Rode into the Sunset."
