REGISTRATION



All spring classes are 100% online (with some exceptions).

  • All spring quarter classes will be held 100% online for the entire quarter April 13 through June 19.
    • Exception: Classes with a hands-on component will be online April 13 through May 17 and the hands-on portion of the class could be offered in person from May 18 through June 19. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
  • All classes with a hands-on component are indicated in the online class schedule

The college has limited equipment that we can lend to students, but we will do our best to accommodate as many students as possible. Emergency Communication:

The Triton Alert Emergency Notification System is used to notify campus and community members when there is a campus closure or emergency situation that requires evacuation or securing in place. You are automatically enrolled to receive Triton Alerts through your college email address. You may also sign up to receive text messages on your mobile devices and/or additional email notifications to your personal email address.

You can purchase your textbooks online. The college bookstore is now providing free online shipping and returns.

How To Order Spring 2020 Textbooks Online
  1. Go to edcc.bncollege.com (it is recommended you use Chrome).
  2. On the home page navigation bar, move your mouse over “Textbooks” and click on “Find Textbooks”
  3. You will be prompted to enter your schedule information (https://edcc.bncollege.com/shop/edcc/page/find-textbooks).
    1. Please make sure you are entering the correct section number as multiple professors for the same course could be using different materials.
  4. Click “Find Materials” when are you are ready.
  5. Select your preferred format and condition (buy, rent, used, new, digital).
    1. Please note – unless stated otherwise – that we fulfill the next available condition if we are unable to fulfill your preferred condition.
  6. Select “Add Items to Cart” when you are done.
  7. On the top right, when you are ready, select “View Cart”.
    1. Congratulations! you have qualified for Free Standard Shipping! Or you can choose “Store Pickup” as your preferred method.
  8. Click “Checkout” then proceed to Continue as Guest, Create an Account, or Login if you already have one.
  9. Once completed, enter your shipping and payment information.
How To Get Your Free UPS Rental Return Label
Online Order:
  1. Go to edcc.bncollege.com (it is recommended you use Chrome).
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, select “Login/Sign Up”.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. You will be taken to the overview of your account. Select “Your Rentals” on the left-hand side.
  5. This should show your open rental books and there should be an option to print your return label on the upper right side of this section.
  6. You will need to enter in the address you are shipping the books from.
  7. Once completed, you will be able to print out a UPS return label.
  8. If you have been receiving the rental return reminder emails, there should also be a link in those emails that will allow you to get a label from there.
  9. If you are unable to generate a label, please call 425.640.1575 or send an email to sm8070@bncollege.com. If possible, have your order number or phone number that you used to rent the books ready.

If possible, send all your rentals back in one shipment. This is a prepaid UPS label, so the package should not be taken to the Post Office or FedEx. You can take the package to a UPS store or put it in a UPS drop box.

In-Store Rental:
  1. Go to edcc.bncollege.com (it is recommended you use Chrome).
  2. On the home page navigation bar, move your mouse over “Textbooks” and click on “Textbook Rentals
  3. Scroll down to the bottom right and click “Rental Return
  4. You will need to enter your Order ID and E-mail Address.
    • Your Order ID should be in your reminder emails.
    • Please note that you must use the same e-mail address you entered when purchasing your rental i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, campus email, etc.
    • You may need to enter in the address you are shipping the books from if it was not entered during the point of purchase.
  5. You will be prompted to Click Here to download/print your label.
  6. If you are unable to generate a label, please call 425.640.1575 or send an email to sm8070@bncollege.com. If possible, have your order number or phone number that you used to rent the books ready.

Check out equipment:

Request technology equipment by contacting the Student Technology Advice and Resource Team (START): email start@edmail.edcc.edu, call 425.640.1101 (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon.-Fri.), or join a Zoom meeting (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon.-Fri.).

Edmonds College has a limited number of Chromebooks and equipment that we can lend to students, but we will do our best to accommodate as many students as possible.

In order to qualify for the technology equipment loan program, you must be enrolled for spring quarter 2020. If approved, you will be required to sign a Student Mobile Device Release agreement and may be required to provide proof of enrollment at the time of equipment pick-up.

Check in equipment:

On Monday, 6/15/20, the library automatically sent an email to all students who checked out equipment. The email noted which equipment was checked out to the student and provided a link to a survey where the students select a date and time to return the equipment or indicate that they need to keep the equipment because they are taking summer quarter classes.

College housing remains open during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are here to support students who want to stay and those who cannot return home.

Housing does have some empty apartments for spring and summer. Please email housing@email.edcc.edu if interested.

While the campus is closed, do not come to campus. Once the campus reopens, you will need a parking permit to visit campus.

Call 425.640.1501 to request a parking pass. If you do not have an EdPass, you will need to know your SID and have a state or federally issued ID (driver license, passport) to verify your identity to be able to get a parking pass.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Community Transit is not collecting fares at this time. If Community Transit begins charging again for bus service, your EdPass/ORCA card will be active to use immediately for the remainder of the quarter. At no time will students or staff have to pay for Community Transit bus service during spring quarter.

Our Worker Retraining Program, in partnership with the Employment Security Department, can help you upgrade your skills or train for a new job. We provide advising, financial assistance, and other resources.

You may apply for unemployment through the Employment Security Department. The department has programs designed to help people affected by COVID-19.

Staying home helps to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but for many survivors of domestic violence, staying home may jeopardize their safety.
