Jameson Bratcher

Jameson Bratcher completed his education in Tuba Performance at Azusa Pacific University (B.M.) and University of Denver (M.M.) before returning to his native Northwest. In addition to teaching tuba at Edmonds Community College, he currently works as a low brass and chamber music coach in the Northshore and Edmonds School Districts, Cascade and Seattle Youth Symphonies as well as maintaining a private low brass studio.

Jameson performs with the Choppers and Evergreen Brass Quintets, Philharmonia Northwest, and has performed in venues such as the Paramount and Neptune theaters. Jameson Bratcher was blessed to study with John Van Houten (LA studio musician), Warren Deck (former principal New York Philharmonic), and Kathleen Brantigan (Founder, Denver Brass) and in masterclasses with Gene Pokorny (Chicago Symphony).
