Their shared teaching goals include:

- Offering diverse music theory and digital music courses.
- Creating a dynamic, rich learning environment for students to pursue their passion for music and performing.
Student ensembles at Edmonds Community College have numerous performance opportunities throughout the academic year.
Take survey courses such as Jazz History, MUSC& 107 or Music Appreciation, MUSC&105 online, when it is convenient, to deepen your relationship to music. Music education begins with listening.
The college has a Concert Band for woodwinds, brass, and percussionists. Participating in Concert Band fulfills the large ensemble requirement for the new Associate of Arts-Music Degree and is open to members of the community. Those who wish to register and play with this group of musicians contact Steve Mostovoy, director.
