Frequently Asked Questions
I have some experience with Microsoft Office applications. How can I use that experience in this program?
Our word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentations (PowerPoint), and database (Access) courses are proficiency-based, allowing you to fast-forward through topics you already know well. You can complete the course requirements any time during the quarter — and you may become Microsoft Office Certified for FREE.
How flexible is this program for someone currently working?
More than half of our students are working. We understand that all students are juggling life’s many demands. We offer both campus classroom courses and online courses. We can design a degree plan that allows you to complete a certificate and degree entirely online with the complement of instructor-led open-lab hours.
Our certificates and degrees are designed to be flexible - complete one class a quarter or complete as many as four classes a quarter. We want you to enjoy taking classes while still successfully maintaining outside obligations like work, family, and personal activities.
