**For any credits over 18, an operating fee is charged in lieu of tuition.
-For resident students, the fee is $198.92 per credit.
-For nonresident students, the fee is $597.89 per credit.

Any credits taken in addition to the initial 10 credits of CYFS courses will only be $10.49 per credit for Residents and $11.23 per credit for Nonresidents. This applies to Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters only.

Summer Quarter will be regular tuition rates for lower division general education credits.


Fees

Besides tuition, there are additional fees. See Fees on the Edmonds CC Tuition webpage for standard fees for all credits.

There are also additional fees for CYFS hybrid courses, as listed in the online class schedules each quarter. An insurance fee is collected for Practicum courses.


Financial Assistance

Financial Aid is available for this program for those who qualify. Please complete the FAFSA application at least 3 weeks prior to the financial aid deadline.


For students working in an Early Achievers program, Child Care Aware of Washington Scholarships offers a Bachelor's Degree Scholarship by application.


The Edmonds Community College Foundation offers three scholarships each year for BAS-CYFS students. The application opens in Summer Quarter.
