Bachelor of Applied Science Degree

Application Process

Students are admitted into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Child, Youth, and Family Studies (BAS-CYFS) program through a separate application process.

Admission is determined holistically by several factors: strength of personal statement, professional recommendations, grade point average, and work experience. Although meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, we encourage all who have met minimum requirements to apply.

On this page, you will find:

  1. Application Packet and Recommendation Forms, PDFs to download and fill-in
  2. Helpful resources for writing your personal statement and resume
  3. Application process checklist
  4. Submitting your application, email, mail, or drop-off
  5. Tuition waiver eligibility

The following forms are fillable PDF forms that can be filled-in and saved as documents when using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software. Please view the Troubleshooting Guide if you have trouble accessing the forms.
