The Edmonds Community College Fire Officer Degree prepares firefighters for career
advancement in the profession and provides a steppingstone to a four-year degree.
Gain fire fighting command expertise. Start this winter with Fire Protection Systems,
FOD 137, online. Cost $425. Runs Jan. 17-March 18. And Hazardous Materials Incident
Management, FOD 215, offered mostly online with two in class sessions: 8:30 a.m.-5
p.m., Mon., Jan. 11 and Mon., March 18. Cost $425. Class runs online Jan. 17-March
7.
Spring classes will be Fire Service Instructor I and II, FOD 131 and FOD 231.
Fire Officer degree students may be able to earn college credit for training that previously received at a fire department or via the National Fire Academy.
