Quarterly Honor Roll
In order to make the Quarterly Honor Roll, a student must meet the quarterly criteria of completing 10 or more credits in decimal-graded (e.g., 3.5, 3.7, 4.0) with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. S/U grades do not count toward this award.
Students who make the Quarterly Honor Roll will receive a letter of recognition in the mail from the Executive Vice President of Instruction. Please ensure your current mailing address is up to date with Enrollment Services.
Phi Theta Kappa
Students may be eligible for membership in Alpha Alpha Lambda, the College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, if they maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA and successfully complete at least 16 college-level credits towards Associate or Bachelors of Applied Science degrees. Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges worldwide.

If you have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 in college-level courses (numbered 100 or above) or in a high school completion program through winter quarter at Edmonds College, you are eligible to graduate with honors and wear an honor cord at graduation.
Earn Achievements Noted on Your College Transcript
If you have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 in all college-level courses (numbered 100 or above), upon graduation the achievement will be noted on your college transcript.
Take Honors seminars and classes, work closely with a faculty mentor in guided research opportunities, and receive Honors Recognition upon graduation. Earn a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) in Honors classes and the achievement will be noted on your college transcript.
