Disbursement of Funds - BankMobile Disbursements
Edmonds Community College has partnered with BankMobile to disburse all financial
aid funds to our students. This partnership gives you options on how you would like
to receive your refunds.
Each quarter, after you are awarded, we first pay any tuition, fees, and housing that you may owe to the college. If there is a remaining balance, also referred to as a financial aid refund, BankMobile will send it to you according to the refund selection you choose.
Once you complete your financial aid file, a BankMobile refund selection kit will be sent to you in the US Mail. The envelope contains information you will need to setup how you would like to receive your refunds while you are attending Edmonds Community College. Once you receive this selection kit, you must go online and choose the way you would like to receive your financial aid refunds.
You have three options with BankMobile to receive your refunds:
- ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT
Money is transferred to another account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
- ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE ACCOUNT
If you open a BankMobile Vibe account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.
- PAPER CHECK DELIVERED BY USPS
A check is mailed the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school, provided receipt is within daily cutoff times. Typically, it takes 5 – 7 business days for the check to arrive, depending on USPS First-Class® delivery timeframes.

If you do not receive a BankMobile refund selection kit within two weeks of completing your file, use the link below to determine when it was sent. If there is no information or you find that you should have received it by now, please contact us right away.

Keep your address up to date to avoid any delays in receiving your refund selection kit. You can update your student contact information at http://students.edcc.edu by clicking the link “Update Your Address and Phone” in the My Student Info section.
Please Note: Refunds due to dropping a class are sent by paper check to your current address from Edmonds Community College. BankMobile is not an option for enrollment refunds at this time.

The college assigns all students EdMail (email) accounts within a couple of days after they register for their first class. Note: if you are a former student returning after time away from school, check with the Enrollment Services Office to confirm what email address we have on file for you. We use the address recorded in the Enrollment Services records. To gain access to your account, follow the steps at edcc.edu/edmail.
