What We Offer

The Counseling and Resource Center provides free and confidential personal, career, and student success counseling services as well as resources and referrals to support our students and campus community. 

How do I make an Appointment?

You can make an appointment to meet with a counselor by calling our front desk at 425.640.1358 or by visiting our office, Mountlake Terrace Hall (MLT), Room 145.

Urgent Care/Crisis

If you have an immediate health-related emergency please call 911 or campus security at 425.754.0154.

Is Your New Year's Resolution to Feel Better?  Join one of our new groups!

Anxiety Reduction Support Group

Purpose: To gain skills to reduce anxiety, increase ability to focus on school and school related activities and to receive support from counselors and students.

For: Students

Dates: January 15-March 5.  Meets weekly on Tuesday’s, * 8 week commitment

Time: 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Location: Wellness Center-Lynnwood Hall 236

Career Exploration Group

Purpose: To support students who are undecided about their major or career path and assist them with the decision making process.

For: Students 

Dates: January 17-Feb. 21.  Meets weekly on Thursday’s.  *6 week commitment 

Time: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Location: Brier Hall 244


Mindfulness Group

Purpose: To assist students and staff who are feeling stressed and want to learn and use mindfulness skills to improve physical, emotional, and psychological health.

For: Students, and Employees

Date: January 16-March 6.  Meets every Wednesday, no experience necessary! * This is a drop-in group.

Time: 12:30-1:20 p.m.

Location: Brier Hall 244


Depression and Anxiety Support Group

Purpose: To assist students and staff who are experiencing depression, hopelessness, isolation, and anxiety and learn healthy coping tools.

Dates: January 25-March 15.  Meets weekly on Friday's. *8 week commitment 

Time: 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Location: Brier Hall 244
