How to Apply for Graduation and Commencement

If you are graduating from Edmonds College this upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 (or finished your degree in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, or Winter 2024) and want to walk at Commencement, please read this carefully:

Graduation and Commencement are two different things and two different processes.

Graduation is the formal process students must complete to have your degree posted to your official transcript and receive your diploma in the months after your final quarter. Apply for Graduation Here. Commencement is the annual celebration for graduates where they walk across the stage, indicating completing a certificate or degree Edmonds College (see below).

Students, Register for Commencement

Edmonds College is excited to invite students graduating in the current academic year to RSVP for Commencement 2024 on Friday, June 14, in Seaview Gym. Students can choose either the 3 p.m. ceremony or the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Commencement celebration is open to students completing any of the following academic plans from Fall 2023 through Summer 2024: High School Diploma, Certificates, General Equivalency Degree (GED^®), Associate, and Bachelor.

Prospective graduates are highly recommended to RSVP as soon as possible; there are a limited number of tickets per graduate to invite friends and family to watch in person (additional tickets may be released in early June). However, a live stream link will be available closer to the date of the ceremony and the video posted later to our website.

Note: All BAS Students will attend the 6:30 p.m. Ceremony
