Visual Media Services

The Visual Media Services Department in the Learning Resources division offers full service video and multimedia production services, dedicated to professionally producing and delivering content for Edmonds Community College’s Instructional and Arts, Culture, and Civic Engagement programs.

Visual Media Services operates and maintains Comcast (South Snohomish County) Ch. 21/26 and Frontier Ch. 38, running 150 hours of programming and 18 hours of message board announcements per week.

In addition to instructional programming, the department produces 10 major program series for Comcast Ch. 21/26, Frontier Ch. 38 and on demand @ and You Tube. More than 200 programs per year are produced by the Visual Media Services Department.

LED studio lighting was funded by the Campus Green Fund, sponsored by the Associated Students of Edmonds Community College. The Campus Green Fund provides resources to further the Sustainability Initiative on campus with awards to students, staff, and faculty for projects that model environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable practices in the campus community.
