Who qualifies for the Tuition Payment Plan?
Most students do qualify for the 1/3 Down Tuition Payment Plan.
However, the following students do not qualify for this plan:
- Third party billing. You do not qualify if someone else is paying your tuition such as Boeing, L&I, a branch of military, or any company that requests in writing that the college bill them for your tuition and pays it in full. (Third party billings do not include companies that reimburse students for out-of-pocket payments for tuition.)
- You are an ESL, ABE or GED student, then you do not qualify for this plan.
- You are an International student if you are under the age of 18 years of age, then you do not qualify. International students in the college and high school completion program may contact Ana Nacanaynay, ISS office, for assistance at ana.nacanaynay@email.edcc.edu or (425) 640-1188.
- You are a financial aid student and your awards will be applied to pay your tuition and fees in full, then you do not qualify for this plan. Contact Financial Aid Services at (425) 640-1457 for more information.
Payment Deadlines
Winter Quarter: When you first sign up for classes, you’ll pay 1/3 of the tuition costs, plus a $15 fee. Then as follows:
- January 15 The second installment is due.
- February 15 The third installment is due.
Spring Quarter: When you first sign up for classes, you’ll pay 1/3 of the tuition costs, plus a $15 fee. Then as follows:
- April 15 The second installment is due.
- May 15 The third installment is due.
Summer Quarter: When you first sign up for classes, you’ll pay 1/3 of the tuition costs, plus a $15 fee. Then as follows:
- July 15 The second installment is due.
- August 15 The third installment is due.
Fall Quarter: When you first sign up for classes, you’ll pay 1/3 of the tuition costs, plus a $15 fee. Then as follows:
- October 15 The second installment is due.
- November 15 The third installment is due.
Once the quarter has started, you will have one business day to complete the tuition payment plan contract and payment.
Four easy steps to set up your tuition payment plan:
- Download and print this contract.
A separate contract must be filled out for each quarter the payment plan is used.
- Complete all sections of the contract. If you do not know your student ID number, please provide your social security number.
- Your signature is required. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian is also required to sign the contract. We need their signatures to process the contract.
- Submit the completed contract, along with 1/3 of tuition and fees, plus the non-refundable $15 fee as follows:

The non-refundable fee of $15 with a minimum of 1/3 of tuition and fees must be submitted with the signed contract to qualify for the Cashiers’ Tuition Payment Plan.
