Eligibility Worksheet
In order to be considered for the TRiO Student Support Services program you MUST meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident; and
- Have a High School diploma or GED/High School Completion; and
- Be accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled at Edmonds Community College in a college level program; and
- Be enrolled in a 2-year transfer degree (AA or AS) , an Associate of Technical Arts (ATA) or an Associate in Applied Science-T (AAS-T) degree (no certificate programs); and
- Not already have a degree from a 4-year college or university; and
- Be a first generation college student (neither parent or guardian has graduated from a four-year college or university) AND
- Be low income (according to federal low income guidelines - see table below) OR
- Have a documented disability and be registered with Services for Students with Disabilities
