Reporting

Reporting on the college's sustainability efforts is an important part of maintaining transparency with our community and well as helping to clarify our goals and indicate our progress.

Sustainability Assessment

In 2007-2008, Tim Hohn, a horticulture faculty member involved in the Sustainability Council, completed a Sustainability Assessment of our campus.  Our goal is to improve our sustainability performance, and we now have a clearer picture of where we currently stand.

As a way to complement our current efforts, this assessment gives us a more complete picture of what’s going on, what the opportunities are for improvement, and therefore where to focus our energies and efforts. This project will also establish the data points for us to monitor in the future as benchmarks of improvement.

Carbon Footprint

In 2008-2009, we conducted a baseline carbon footprint.  Our report can be viewed here.

State Agency Greenhouse Gas Inventory

In the summer of 2010, the state required all state agencies to create a greenhouse gas inventory (same as a carbon footprint) for 2005, 2008, 2009, using their calculator, and report on efforts being made to decrease emissions.  Click the link to access our submitted reports: State Agency Reporting.
