Sociology

Coordinated Studies Courses

In addition to the listed courses, the Department of Sociology regularly offers Coordinated Studies Programs, which combine one of our courses with a class in another field. Sociology of the Environment, for example, has been taught with English 105 as a 10-credit course in which students write about environmental issues. Another combination is Introduction to Sociology with a Human Disease course in Biology to explore biological as well as social issues of disease. Since topics for Coordinated Studies offerings vary from quarter to quarter, please consult the class schedule under the heading "Coordinated Studies" for specifics.
