The Scheduling and Events Management Office is here to help you schedule your meetings & plan lectures, special events, and even conferences!  We strive to provide solutions for the success of your event. 

If you wish to reserve an ITV (interactive TV) room, please read through this page and click the link at the bottom of the page.


There are a few ways to start the process:

1)  Calendar

If you are currently on a college network, check out http://tweety.edcc.edu to access our calendar (please use Mozilla Firefox browser). Sometimes, we lovingly refer to this site as "tweety" or the webviewer. This calendar is integrated with our scheduling database called Resource 25 or R25 for short. Any and all events scheduled can be accessed on this calendar. You can also check for available spaces at particular times and days in order to narrow your choices and expedite your request. You can check for event locations or just monitor what's happening around the campus. You do not need a log-in to peruse the site. If you are trained and have received a log-in, you can even request to schedule your event online!

*Tweety caveats

a) This website is currently only available to internal campus community members on our network. If you are reading this, and you are not on the college network, the link above won't work.

b) Please do not get excited and create your own log-in. Log-ins are provided by request and are accompanied by a training session (see #2).  If you create your own log-in, you may cause duplication in the scheduling database, which won't help us or you.

c) If you use Explorer for your browser, you may encounter errors with the cursor; use Mozilla Firefox to avoid frustration.

d) Not all spaces seen in tweety are available for booking. They may be dedicated spaces not available for general use. We will let you know if you unknowingly request one of these spaces.

2)  Submit an Online Request

In order to submit an online request, you must request a log-in and attend a training session. We encourage all staff/faculty who schedule events on campus to use tweety for requests; believe me, you will love it! Training sessions are held throughout the year or by arrangement. The next training session is scheduled to be held during the workshops for 2008 Fall Kick-Off Week; look for it with your information packet.  We'd love to have you there!

3)  Submit a Room Scheduling Request Form (AKA ... and then there's always paper)

If you are not trained on tweety or don't want to be yet, here is the form to fill out if you are requesting space on campus to host your event.  Don't worry!  We know it's a confusing form - we are currently revising the form to make it more user-friendly.  Even if you are not trained, you can still use tweety to check to see if the space you want is available (see #1).  Don't be afraid to contact us if you have questions.  Send completed forms through campus mail to Lynn Clements - VPI. Please allow up to 5 working days for processing; if you have an emergency and need a quicker turn-around, please walk the form over to Snohomish Hall 320, and we will try our best to accommodate your need.
