Some Considerations
The decision to begin college early is an important one. Success in college usually requires a set of skills beyond those a typical student is exposed to in high school. Students and parents should carefully consider whether this program appropriately meets the student's needs. Running Start is one of several options students have for the completion of high school. High school and college advisors are available to meet with students and parents to discuss the options. Like other options, Running Start has its strengths, but please consider its concerns as well.
