Eligibility Requirements
If high school juniors and seniors qualify for the program they are eligible for a maximum of 18 credits in fall quarter, 18 credits in winter quarter, and 18 credits in spring quarter each academic year. Unused credits do not carry over from one quarter to the next. It is not offered summer quarter.
Private high school and homeschooled students must first enroll in the public school district in which they reside.
Accuplacer™/Assessment test
Students must take a test on campus to demonstrate that they are prepared for college-level work. This will also help guide their decisions about which classes to take.
Course Options
- Academic Course Placement
College-level course placement in English 105, English 100, or Bridge 115 is necessary. Students in this category may also enroll in technical courses. - Technical Course Placement
Students whose English course placement is below college level (Bridge 87, Bridge 90, Bridge 93, EAP 100, EAP 121) must commit to a specific technical program and only enroll in technical classes within that program. Technical courses generally do not transfer to four year colleges and universities.
