<title>21st Century Business Planning: Eight-week Workshop Series</title> 
<description>Plan your business, increase your profits and prepare for financing. Edmonds Community College's Small Business Development Center presents an &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;eight-week workshop series 6-9 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 10-Oct. 29 &amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;for business owners. Jennifer Shelton, Director and Business Development Specialist, teaches the courses with guest speakers. The cost of the series is $400, recommended for new business owners, or $59 per session. The series begins with &amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Entrepreneurial Mindset-Leadership  6-9 p.m., Wed., Sept. 10.&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt; Discuss Michael Gerber's &amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Entrepreneurial Myth Re-visited &amp;lt;/em&amp;gt; and outline a one page business and marketing plan with Maria Marsala, founder of Elevating Your Business (www.elevatingyourbusiness.com). $59

The degree starts students on their way to a university, and gives them a working foundation in an area of expertise, beginning with several technical classes in their first two-years.
