Copywriting Tips
  • Make sure your statements are accurate and true. We can only promise people opportunity. We cannot promise them a certain salary or a job by enrolling in your program.
  • Avoid exaggerations, clichés, and rash statements
  • Use ellipses, bullets and dashes
  • Tighten copy - use short sentences
  • Read your copy out loud. This works wonders!
  • Be conversational, use pronouns colloquialisms and contractions.
  • Use simple words and active verbs.
  • Use the power of three words: snap, crackle and pop
  • Use contrasting pair: expect more, pay less
  • Enhance copy with: testimonials, endorsements, causes, environment, brand names, and location.
  • Avoid using the weakest words in the English language: wish, hope, try, but, unfortunately, sorry, have to, need to, must
  • Remember the elements of a great ad: creates awareness and desire, generates interest, and promotes action
