Resources for STEM Students

STEM Open Study Space

The Edmonds Community College STEM Division is dedicated to helping our students succeed! We offer several on-campus support programs specifically for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math students, including RiSE (Relationships in Science Education) and MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement).

Whether you need academic help, career advice, or want to get involved in our campus community, Edmonds CC faculty, staff and students are ready to connect with you.

RiSE

Relationships in Science Education

RiSE is a free Edmonds CC program that supports STEM students by connecting members to a faculty mentor, funding field trips to local universities, industry, and cultural centers, providing academic tutoring in the STEM Study Room (SNH 126), and offering community-building events such as a quarterly STEM kick-off, STEM Café conversations, and advising panels. Visit the RiSE Page to find out more and to join.

MESA

Math, Engineering, Science, Achievement

MESA supports underrepresented student achievements in STEM fields. Benefits of membership include being a part of the safe and supportive MESA community, connections with students in other MESA programs across the state, use of the private MESA study room, and MESA-sponsored career panels and events that highlight the importance of creating a diverse and empowered STEM community. Visit the MESA Page to find out more and to join.
