Special Project
The Special Project process is used when:
- You have met with an Edmonds CC faculty adviser who has determined that there is not an Edmonds CC course which matches or is equivalent to the learning for which you seek credit
- the Edmonds CC faculty adviser has determined that the learning is college-level
- the Edmonds CC faculty adviser has agreed to be your sponsor throughout the project.
This is a contract with the Edmonds CC faculty adviser. A Special project is self-supporting with the cost determined by the number of contracted credits, and is covered by QTTP Educationsl Assistance funds. There may be a refund if the number of credits earned is less than the contracted amount. However, any refund will be minus the non-refundable assessment fee. which is equal to the current tuition rate for 3 credits.
Successful Special Projects will be transcripted as elective credit by either a decimal grade or an "S".
If you plan to transfer to another institution, be sure to check the transferability of credits.
