Childcare Providers' Cooperative Preschool

A Cooperative Preschool exclusively for licensed-family home childcare providers and the children enrolled at their facilities (infants through six-year-olds).

Location: Melody Hill Center • 6205 222nd St SW, Mountlake Terrace

The Child Care Providers Preschool Co-op was formed in 1980 as a child-centered preschool laboratory. Through the affiliation with Edmonds Community College, this co-op provides licensed home-childcare providers with an opportunity to further their education in early learning.

In the preschool classroom, providers, parents and teachers become active partners in the children's education. Research supports the long-term benefits of this type of early community involvement.

Our faculty members plan learning opportunities for both providers and parents. The teachers provide a wonderful “hands-on” learning environment for the children.
