Apply by Oct. 31: faculty/staff awards for global engagement
Release Date: October 23rd, 2012Edmonds Community College offers annual awards of up to $1,500 to faculty/staff to be used for international projects that will increase students' personal experience with international or intercultural issues, communities, or people. This includes travel to research short-term program opportunities and teaching or research abroad to enhance instructor capabilities. It could also encompass on campus activities such as preparation time to organize class and cultural exchange between currently enrolled students, or with classrooms abroad via internet/skype connections. Faculty and staff, apply by October 31.
In addition, the college can support one visiting foreign faculty member per year for up to a quarter of teaching. The college will also support one Edmonds faculty to teach abroad for up to one quarter.

Apply by October 31 for teaching assignments in the upcoming year.
