Art display for Native American Heritage Month Celebration Nov. 30
Release Date: November 29th, 2012Join us for an art display and celebration, 4-7 p.m., Fri., Nov. 30, Meadowdale Hall, second floor, with the Native American Student Association and Edmonds Community College Visual Arts.
The Native American Student Association and the Visual Arts Department bring an exhibit of student works representing various heritages of our students to campus.
A celebration of the works includes:
• Native Drum (Flickertail)
• Paul Cheoketen Wagner playing Native Flute
• Jingle Dress Dancing
• Artist Andrew Morrison will talk about his art
• a Veterans Honoring (song) at the top of each hour
Students, family, friends and community members are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
