International Education Week

Join Edmonds Community College during International Education Week. Meet the 18 scholars from Brazil, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan studying at Edmonds Community College as part of the Northwest Community College Initiative. They'll share stories and games from their cultures and information about their countries this week.
Presentations and Storytelling from Abroad — Are you curious about what’s going on in Pakistan? Ever wanted to travel to Indonesia? Join Northwest Initiative students as they share personal anecdotes of their journey to the United States and offer an insider’s look at culture, politics and more.

Join us: 12:30-1:30 p.m., Fri., Nov. 19 in Brier 231/233 to learn about Cameroon, Costa Rica, Brazil, Kenya, and Pakistan.
Cultural Games and Tables — Have you ever played geographical monopoly on a human-size board? If you like impressing your friends with trivia, then you’ll love the facts and artifacts from across the globe showcased right here on campus. Who knew learning could be so fun?
