Is it your goal to improve your eating and cooking habits, reduce stress, lose weight, or exercise smarter?

Register now for “6 Weeks to a Healthier You,” where nationally acclaimed speaker, health expert, and best-selling author Joe Piscatella will guide you toward achieving these goals.

The program, co-sponsored by Edmonds Community College, begins Tuesday, April 15, at the Lynnwood Convention Center and runs six consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30-8 p.m., ending May 20.

The series will focus on practical education awareness and empowering individuals to make positive behavior changes. Sessions topics include overall health, healthy eating, exercise, healthy cooking, heart health, and family support.

Biometric health screenings from Swedish Edmonds will help participants better gauge their overall health at the beginning of the program and again at the end. The program fee is $49 per person, but the value of the biometric screenings alone is $100. Scholarships are available, and groups of 10 or more can receive a discounted rate.

Register by March 30, or to learn more about the program, visit www.verdanthealth.org. Use the promo code “edcc” for a $10 discount. The discount is available to employees, students, and the general public.

Co-sponsors include Verdant Health Commission, Premera Blue Cross, Swedish Edmonds, Edmonds School District, Snohomish County, the cities of Edmonds and Lynnwood, and others.
