Find the Program That's Right for You

Planning to transfer to a four-year university as a music major? Start with MUSIC 181.

The music theory sequence at Edmonds Community College parallels courses offered at the university level. The six class sequence begins Fall quarter and takes two years (no summer session) to complete.

Just interested? Or a beginning music student? Start with MUSIC 101.

Survey of Music Fundamentals is offered Fall, Winter or Spring quarters. Learn to read and write pitches and rhythms and/or major scale construction.

Interested in musical performance?

Audition in spring for the vocal jazz choir, Soundsation. Other options are Jazz Band, Jazz Workshop, Jazz Choir and Symphonic Choir, an opportunity for students to perform traditional choral literature and major works with orchestra accompaniment. Or, check out the guitar, voice and piano classes.
