Materials Science Technology

We prepare students for technician jobs specializing in composites manufacturing, repair, and research. Our classes will introduce you to materials science, composite materials, and engineering design. We provide hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs that train you for careers in various fields, including materials technician, composites technician, research associate, quality assurance, and more. If you complete the 15-credit composites Certificate of Completion, you are eligible to apply for Boeing's Blue Streak Mechanic, Composite Manufacturing Technician, or Tooling Inspector Apprenticeship programs.
