Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement
MESA Eligibility
General:
- Intend to transfer to a four-year institution and earn a degree in math, science, or engineering
- Eligible for Math 80 or above
- Enrolled Edmonds Community College student (Running Start, High School Completion students are welcome)
- Do not have a previous bachelor's degree
Financial (at least one of the following):
- Qualify for Financial Aid, Federal Work Study, or other need-based financial aid
- Recipient of SBCTC Tuition Waiver
- Federal poverty level
- Parent/Guardian/Student is on TANF (state aid) or SNAP (federal food stamp program)
- TRiO student
- Not yet 24, but living on your own and supporting yourself/a family
Other financial qualifications may apply.
Educational (at least one of the following):
- First generation college student
- Female underrepresented in math, science, or engineering
- Participated in a MESA School Program (K-12)
- Began community college with a math assessment below Math 80
