Give the frog a loan!

The reference librarian says, "Well Mr. frog, go over there to see Patty Wax, she is at the Circulation Desk, I'm sure she will be happy to help you,"

The frog hops over to the Circulation Desk and asks Mrs. Patty Wax, "May I borrow this book," and shows her his selection.

Mrs. Wax says, "Sure, Mr. Frog, would you please show me your student ID "

The frog says, "I think I lost it in the pond down the street. Can you look up my name, it is Mick Jaeger."

At this point Patty Wax is getting a little suspicious about the trustworthiness of the frog but she is very public service minded and wants to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Suddenly, the frog pulls a golden disk out of his knapsack and hands it over to her.

She asks, confused, "What is this?"

The frog croaks back, "Collateral for borrowing this book." She rubs her head, and walks back to her boss and says, "I don't get it, a frog hops in here wanting to borrow a book, says his name is Mick Jaeger, and gives me this golden disk. What should I do?"

The library director laughs and says, "It's a knick-knack Patty Wax, give the frog a loan! His old man's a Rolling Stone!"
