Njoku completed the Patient Care Technician certificate at Edmonds Community College last year. In addition to his job at Overlake, he works as an emergency room data reporter for a medical research firm. |

| Neighbors entered Everett Community College after returning from the Vietnam War. He earned his nursing degree and was hired as the safety and health director for Bayliner Marine. In 2004, CEO Magazine named his recruiting and staffing company "Best Company to Work For in Washington State." |

Hathaway came to Edmonds Community College at age 36. Five credits short of having a high school diploma, she entered the adult high school completion program to finish it. Then she began work on her associate's degree to transfer to the University of Washington for a pharmacy degree. |

| Edmonds Community College had everything these educated professionals from Vietnam needed to make a new start in their new country - from English as a Second Language classes to bachelor's degrees on our campus from Central Washington University-Lynnwood. They earned their transfer degrees from Edmonds and plan to work in accounting and banking.
