Please double check all signature areas that apply to you. The minimum age of any Edmonds CC student is 16 years of age at the time of arrival. If you are under the age of 18, please review and sign the acknowledgment of risks and consent to medical care sections on the application form.
Current official bank statement with a minimum balance of $16,611(US dollars).
The statement must be in English and issued within the past 6 months.
$50 (US Dollars) non-refundable application fee.
There are three (3) ways to pay your application fee:

Is your spouse and/or child coming with you?
If you are applying for a F2 visa(s) for a spouse or child(ren), please include the dependent form with your application. An additional $4,500 (US Dollars) per person must be added to your bank statement
English Proficiency
Students must be proficient in English to enter the High School Completion Program and College Program. No TOEFL required. Instead students take the Edmonds English Placement assessment upon arrival and are assigned appropriate classes.

Resident Halls: fully furnished, private room and share bath. Rainier Hall prices include internet and phone access. Meals are not included.

Refund Policies
IESL Classes: If a student notifies ISS in writing before the first day of the quarter, a refund of paid tuition will be
processed. There are no refunds after the first day of the quarter.
College or High School Credit Classes: A refund of tuition and fees is made only when a student officially
withdraws from a class. 100% - First five instructional days of the quarter. 50% - First 20 calendar days of the
quarter. No refunds of tuition after the first 20 calendar days of the quarter. No refund of tuition may be made for
any purpose beyond the current quarter.
What’s next
- Receive your I-20, Acceptance Letter, Housing and Airport Pick-up form (Only if you are staying with a host family), and Orientation Calendar.
- Apply for your STUDENT VISA at the United States Embassy or Consulate closest to your home (bring passport and bank statement and/or sponsorship papers). The U.S. Embassy/Consulate will require that you show proof of payment for the SEVIS fee (I-901) of $100.00. For more information regarding this fee please refer to http://www.ice.gov/sevis
- Purchase health insurance. If you don’t have insurance already, medical and dental insurance will be available for purchase after you arrive at Edmonds Community College.
- Make flight arrangements.
- Complete and return HOUSING and AIRPORT PICKUP form to Edmonds Housing Office by fax at (425) 640-1057 (Only if you are staying in the dormitory or with a host family).
- Receive confirmation of housing placement from HOUSING OFFICE (Only if you are staying in the dormitory or with a host family).
- Travel to the United States and arrive at Edmonds Community College.
- Report to the International Student Services office and meet your International Student adviser through Orientation. You will be given the Orientation Calendar.
- Attend orientation week activities.
- Registration
- For ESL students - Take PLACEMENT TEST and pick up CLASS SCHEDULE (Tuition will be due this day).
- For college students - Receive placement test scores and meet with your adviser to register for classes.
- Attend the first day of class.
