Teachers (Faculty)

Edmonds Community College Intensive ESL teachers are caring, dedicated, professional, and friendly.  Most teachers have a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language  (TESL) or a related field.  All teachers have ESL training and ESL teaching experience. 

Intensive ESL teachers have lived and taught ESL in many countries:  Japan, Korea, Thailand, Laos, China, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Yugoslavia (Croatia and Serbia), Spain, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kenya, Canada, England, and more.  We have experience learning a foreign language and living in another culture, so we understand our ESL students.
