Intensive ESL

Welcome to the Intensive English as a Second Language Program

Intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) offers English classes for international students. The Intensive ESL Program started in 1983 and has an excellent reputation for high quality ESL instruction.

• In 2007-2008, 250 students from 20 countries
• Prepares students who need English for high school, college, or university studies as well as teaches English for students’ personal use
• Highly-qualified and experienced ESL teachers
• Five Levels  (Beginning to Advanced)
• Average class size: 15 students
• Students take four classes:
           Reading • Writing • Grammar • Speaking/Listening
• Special Level 4 + 5 Speaking/Listening classes:
           Pronunciation
           Advanced Speaking/Listening
           College Preparation
           Partners in the Community (Volunteer Experience)
