- Direct deposit (EFT) is available to all employee types.
- The first payroll run after you return your completed EFT form to us is a “test” of the transfer process. You will receive a check on this payroll run. Please indicate if you would like to pick up your “test” check in the Payroll Office, otherwise it will be mailed via US mail. Photo ID will be required when you pick up the “test” check in the Payroll Office. Please check Web Earnings for confirmation on your direct deposit - this will be your assurance that the transfer process has begun and will remain in effect until you elect to stop it in writing or terminate your employment.
- Your final check upon separation of employment cannot be automatically deposited.
- Some banks may post your automatic payroll deposit later than the hour the bank opens. Consult with your bank for the time of day your funds will be available to you.
It is the employee’s responsibility to notify the Payroll Office of any bank or account information changes that occur. This is vitally important. Failure to do so may result in a delayed payment to the employee of up to 5 days after the pay date.
