SOPHIE COURT FEATURES- 3-bedroom apartment with 2.5 bathrooms
- Fully furnished kitchen that includes a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and stove

- There is a small picnic area between the buildings
- Residence will have access to the Housing Office for maintenance, roommate, and emergency concerns.
- Apartments will need to be set up by the family with: furniture, utilites, cable, internet
- Non-refundable Application fee - $250 (it is non-refundable unless we do not find space)
- Refundable damage deposit - only $200
- Non-refundable cleaning fee - $200
- Rent the whole apartment $1650 or rent the two single rooms and share the apartment with another family - $850, or rent the large master bedroom with a private bath and share the apartment with another family - $850. (prices are a monthly cost)

- We will confirm placement at least 2 months before beginning of Fall Quarter
One member of the family must be a student, a staff member or a faculty member of EdCC or CWU. Documentation of eligibility is required. Roomers or boarders are not allowed to share apartments with tenants. A "family" is defined as an established long-term relationship with an exclusive mutual commitment in which members share the necessities of life and on-going responsibility for their common welfare. Eligible family members include:
- Your child(ren)
- Your spouse
- Your domestic partner
When should I apply? The earlier you apply, the greater your chances for getting an apartment near the date you desire. You may apply before you are accepted to the college.
When will I be assigned an apartment? Usually 2 months before the quarter starts.
Can I request a specific apartment? We do not guarantee assignment to a specific apartment or specific apartment type. However, we do try to meet applicant preferences. Your flexibility may help us accommodate you earlier than if you have specific requests.
What if my family status changes during my stay? Any changes to family status must be reported to Housing Office immediately. If you no longer remain eligible due to changes in family status, you will need to vacate Family Student Housing.

Is it quiet? Yes, these are brand new apartments and were built very sound proof.
What if I have 2 cars? Only one parking space is allocated per apartment. The other car can be parked outside in designated parking spots.
Are pets allowed? Pets are not permitted, with the exception of small caged animals (hamsters, turtles, small birds) and fish in tanks smaller than 30-gallons.
