Other Options
When living with a host family or in the dormitory is not desired, students may choose to live in an off campus apartment by themselves or with roommates. There are many choices within walking distance of the college.
- Most apartments are not furnished. All food, dishes, linens and furniture must be purchased by the student after arrival.
- Housing services suggests that new students stay with a host family or in the residence hall for their first academic quarter in order to have time to get familiar with the community and a comfortable apartment.
