Why Should I Enroll?
Students get to experience the college environment at little or no cost! The credits earned through Running Start counts toward high school graduation requirements AND a college degree. Students take classes for different reasons.
- University Transfer: Take college level classes that transfer to a University.
- Direct Employment: Take college level classes that give you job skills for moving directly into the workforce and count towards a Certificate of Completion, or an Associates degree in a technical/professional area.
- Experience the College Environment: Take one or two college level classes to experience the college campus and see what college is like. This can help you decide whether college is something you want to pursue after high school.
