Janet L. Guenther has dedicated her teaching career to helping others experience the joy of lifetime fitness. A competitive 'natural' bodybuilder for over 25 years, Janet's has been using the sport of bodybuilding to help control her type 1 diabetes. Janet's Philosophy - "you can never be too strong and you can never have too much fun!" As an alumnus of Edmonds Community College, Jeannie joined the Edmonds CC team as a Full-time Physical Education Instructor in 2005. Having instructed physical fitness and wellness classes for both Ashmead College and Lake Washington Technical College Jeannie is excited to bring her experiences here to the Edmonds PE department. Jeannie earned her master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Leadership from Seattle Pacific University and a bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Sports Management from Central Washington University. Jeannie's Philosophy - "to encourage team spirit, cooperation and sportsmanship among students and to positively impact student's lives in the areas of physical fitness, athletics, wellness and health."
