Overview of Articulation Agreements

Completing a transfer program at Edmonds College gives you a tremendous advantage as you work toward a bachelor's degree. Some four-year schools, such as the University of Washington, give priority admissions to students with a two-year transfer degree. Edmonds College offers you several opportunities to move into a bachelor's degree program.

What is an articulation agreement?

An articulation agreement is a legal document produced when two or more academic institutions follow a process leading to a partnership to provide a formalized pathway for student transfer.

What is the purpose of an articulation and transfer agreement?

Articulation agreements ensure that students understand exactly which courses will and will not transfer. That's so students don't spend a lot of time taking courses at the college that will not satisfy their bachelor's degree requirements.
