Step 1: Apply for Admission
This is the first step in registering for classes. You can apply online, pick up a from at Enrollment Services, or ask to have one mailed to you.

Step 2: Math and English Placement
You may be required to take the ACCUPLACER assessment to determine proper placement in math and English classes.
Step 3: Advising | 425.640.1458
Find what program is right for you. Advisers will help you develop your education plan and select the classes you need. Advising is usually available immediately after you take the ACCUPLACER assessment. The college also offers Career, College, and Life Success courses to help you make decisions on your goals.
Step 4: Register for Classes and Your Bus Pass
You may register online or in person at Enrollment Services.
- New students: Get your ORCA enhanced EdPass card and pay the quarterly bus pass activation fee. Register for ORCC 900 with any of the following class item numbers: ORC1, ORC2, ORC3, or ORC4.
- Already have an ORCA enhanced EdPass card? Register for ORCA 900. To pay for only the quarterly activation fee, register for any of the following class item numbers: QBP1, QBP2, QBP3, or QBP4. | 425.640.1143

There are several options available to pay your tuition, including a tuition payment plan.

Step 6: EdMail, Get the Message! Be Sure to Login to Your EdMail Account.
All important information from the college -- about enrollment, financial aid, classes -- will be sent via your EdMail account.

Discover opportunities to help you succeed at Edmonds Community College. Upcoming new student winter quarter orientation sessions are 3-4 p.m., Nov. 28, Dec. 18 and 27.; and 6-7 p.m., Dec. 6.
Step 8: Purchase Books and Get Your EdPass | 425.640.1672
Buy your books online or from the college store. Get your EdPass (college I.D.) or ORCA enhanced EdPass card (college I.D. plus bus pass) at the college store, which will allow you to check out books from the library and more!
