Welcome to the 2014 Celebration of Food Tour! The tour features FREE family events hosted throughout Snohomish County that focus on growing, cooking, and purchasing local food. Dates and descriptions highlighted below.


Garden Treasures, June 6, 11 a.m.–12 p.m.: Join us for a special free class on tomato care! Tomato plants need specific care; we will give a full guide of how to grow tomatoes for a good harvest from pruning to pest prevention. Email patty_lara_1999@yahoo.com to register. Mother Nature’s Organics, June 21, 11:30 a.m.–5 p.m.: Celebrate the summer solstice with a fun, free afternoon on the farm.  Activities include a farm tour, kids activities, produce stand, and a live band! Lynnwood Farmers Market, July 3, 3 p.m.–7 p.m.: Join us at the Farmer’s Market for Red, White and Blue Night! Biringer Farm, July 19 and 20, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.: Join us for our Raspberry Fest! Bring family and friends and join our staff in various activities around the farm. Catch a Trolley ride and pluck fresh raspberries right from the vine. Peck away at mile high strawberry raspberry shortcake…Oh My! FREE Admission. Food and Fun reasonably priced. Farmer Frog Olivia Park Site, August 14, 4 p.m.– 6 p.m.: Join us at Olivia Park Elementary School for a fun gardening experience! Farmer Frog is a nonprofit organization working with local schools and communities teaching how to grow food in the city.
