Return of Funds

Students who receive financial aid funds and then withdraw, or fail to complete any credits prior to completing 60% of the quarter, are subject to the conditions of the Return of Title IV Aid policy and Return of State Funds policy.  Based on your last reported date of attendance, you may owe a repayment of any funds you received.  If you owe a repayment, it will be reported to the Department of Education and the State Higher Education Coordinating Board.  You will not be eligible for aid at any other institution until the repayment is made.  Tuition refunds are returned by the college to the financial aid programs or if you have a Stafford Loan, to the lending institution.  The college may then also require the student to repay the portion of the tuition that was returned.  A copy of the policy is available in the Financial Services Office.
