Energy Management Degree

Degree Outcomes

  • Use technology, technical skills, and situational analysis to manage energy use information, analyze data and propose greater efficiency in the use of energy.
  • Create an environment conducive to positive group interaction; establish and maintain effective working relationships in multicultural settings.
  • Apply project management concepts and practices to oversee an energy management  project or program’s time, cost and quality.
  • Apply knowledge of energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainable practices to energy management projects .
  • Evaluate the energy use patterns for buildings and recommend energy efficiency measures, equipment, processes and practices, and cost-efficient alternative energy solutions.
  • Understand the interaction between energy-consuming building systems and consumer needs to make recommendations for the more efficient use of energy.
  • Develop energy evaluation technical reports and make presentations for potential project or program implementation
  • Use appropriate information resources to research professional  issues
  • Collect, display, discuss and analyze data to make recommendations on individual projects, programs and program design, and policies.
