Start college right, sign in to your new Edmonds Community College email account powered by Google. Use EdMail — your college email — to communicate with classmates, study groups, and instructors — and get essential information from your college.
Your @edmail.edcc.edu account gives you secure, reliable email, plus features (like Google Talk, Google Docs, and Google Calendar) to help you communicate, collaborate, and get the most out of college.
Your EdMail, Required Reading for College
Yes, you should check your EdMail as a student at Edmonds Community College. You can forward your college emails to a personal account, but there are great features on EdMail (Google Apps) that can help you in your classes (and your instructor may require you to use them). These tools are not the same ones available to you from a regular Gmail account or other email provider. Use your EdMail account!
Your EdMail account will be used to communicate with your online and hybrid classes and receive key news from the college, including alerts, notices of upcoming events, and registration, tuition, and financial aid announcements.

Your instructor may expect you to use Google Apps (Calendar, Docs, Sites, and Talk) in your classes. To use Google Apps just log in to your EdMail account.
For more information and tutorials on Google Apps, go to the Google help center. See these tips on how to use the different apps.
