Developmental Education

• Library:
  The library is located on the 3rd floor of Lynnwood Hall. You may contact library personnel regarding tours and resources at (425) 640-1529. They have an excellent website at www.edcc.edu/library/ or go to the home page – Programs of Study – Library.

• Communications Center/Mailroom:
  The Mailroom/Communication Center is on the second floor of Lynnwood Hall, Room 217. Fall quarter hours Will be M-Th 7 AM – 6:30 PM and Friday 7 AM – 5 PM. You have a mailbox in the Communications Center/Mailroom. Please check it regularly for mail, messages, and duplicated materials.

• EdPass/College ID:
  A college photo ID (EdPass) is required for all employees and is available through the EdPass office located in the Bookstore inside the Cafeteria in Brier Hall. The EdPass with a current quarter sticker is required college ID for entry into secured areas during work hours, after hours and on weekends. Other features include reduced bus fare pass on Community Transit, and money may be put on it to use as a debit card at the Bookstore, Espresso stand, cafeteria and in the vending machines on campus. You must have an EdPass to get a staff parking permit from Security. Quarter stickers for the EdPass card will be distributed by the division secretary before the quarter starts.

• Key Card:
  You must have an EdPass identification card in order to access certain classrooms on Campus. The EdPass office will have your card encoded for you to obtain access to your classroom(s). If you need to gain access to a locked classroom or building on the weekend, additional paperwork may be needed. Please see your Division secretary. This will provide the necessary identification for Security.

• Parking Stickers:
  After receiving an EdPass, go to the Security Office, MDL 120, and pick up a staff parking permit. You will need to know your license plate number.

• Security:
  Personnel are on duty for safety issues, assistance with locked classroom doors, evening escorts from classrooms to cars, etc. They will ask to see your EdPass.

There are also yellow security boxes located outside of Snohomish, Woodway, and Meadowdale Halls that will also directly connect you to a security officer. If you want to access the building on weekends, you must have your current EdPass card with you.

• Media Equipment Support Services:
  Media Services can provide VCRs, television monitors, projectors, screens, etc., upon request. If you need these types of equipment, please log on to the Media Services web page by going to www.edcc.edu/MediaServices at least 48 hours in advance. Please leave your name, classroom number, type(s) of equipment needed, the date and time you need the equipment, when you will be finished with the equipment and a contact number for them to confirm your order with you. Or call 1534 with this information. The extension to try if you are having problems is 1446.
